Maurice has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Mumbai and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has enjoyed successful careers as a Mechanical Engineer, as an Investment banker, and as a software entrepreneur.

Since 2014, Maurice has Studied Film Making, Screenwriting and the Entertainment Business at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) and at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Extension.  Maurice wrote the first draft of the Screenplay for Chimera in his 8-week  Screenwriting class at NYFA. In January and February 2014, and did a comprehensive rewrite while enrolled in an online 12-week screenplay rewriting class at the UCLA extension in the spring term of 2014.

Chimera is Maurice's First Feature Film

Independent feature film Producer Franco Sama boasts a remarkable and extensive history in public speaking, public relations and a decade of independent film development, production and financing. Franco has executive produced an impressive array of over twenty (20) independent feature films including most recently, Guns, Girls and Gambling starring Gary Oldman, Christian Slater and Dane Cook which is quickly becoming a cult favorite. The film was released into theatres on December of 2012 and, in January 2013, acquired a worldwide distribution deal from Universal Pictures. Other films Franco has produced include; Black Limousine starring David Arquette and Vivica Fox, Tooth and Nail starring Michael Madsen and Vinnie Jones, Paid starring Corbin Bernsen and, The Penitent Man starring Lance Henriksen. Franco also served as Executive Producer on the recent film festival darling Petunia starring Thora Birch, Brittany Snow and Academy Award winner Christine Lahti. His shingle Samaco Films is currently producing a slate of several independent feature films, including Bless Me Father starring John Turturro, as well as a moving military drama titled Through my Daughter’s Eyes. Samaco Films released two films in 2015, the first, The Livingston Gardner which stars James Kyson the beloved “Ando” from the NBC television hit series Heroes and the second, Three Days in Havana starring Ally McBeal alum, Gil Bellows; both of which have been released through Samaco Films’ sister company, Synergetic Distribution and have been released via all digital and Video on Demand (VOD) platforms worldwide. The company’s latest film Game of Aces is scheduled to hit theaters early this winter.

Kathleen Quinlan is an award winning American film  and television actress whose professional
career began when George Lucas visited her high school to cast for his movie American Graffiti (1973). In subsequent years, Kathleen was cast in several Movie and TV shows. and also in the off-Broadway production taken in marriage  (1979) Where kathleen played Annie, along side Meryl Streep.

In 1996 Kathleen received winning best Supporting Actress Oscar  nomination and a Best Supporting Golden Globe nomination for her role opposite Tom Hanks in the film Apollo 13. She was nominated for a best actress Golden Globe award for her portrayal of Deborah, a schizophrenic, in I Never Promised You a Rose Garden (1977). Addionally Kathleen has won the Blockbuster Entertainment Favorite Supporting Actress - Suspense Award for her Performance in Breakdown (1997), the Myfest Best Actress Award for her performance in Blackout (1985), and the OFTA Television Award as the Best Actress in a New Drama Series for Family Law (1999).

Over her career spanning more than 40 Years, Kathleen has starred in scores of movies including Airport 77 (1977), Hanky Panky (1982), Twilight zone: The Movie (1983), Sunset (1988), The Doors (1991), Event Horizon (1997), The Hills Have Eyes (2006), Breach (2007), Made of Honor (2008), and Horns (2013).

Kathleen has over 50 Television credits including appearances in Kojak (1974), Ironside (1974), The Waltons (1976), Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1986-1988), Diagnosis Murder(1999), House M.D (2006),  CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2007), Prison Break (2008-2009),  The Event (2010), SGU Stargate Universe (2011), Glee (2011), Chicago Fire (2012-2013), and Blue (2012-2014),  In 2010 Kathleen produced and acted in the comedy drama Eagles in the Chicken Coop.
